Ingredients
  

For the Pasta
  • 12 oz pasta
For the Sauce
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 can diced tomatoes 14.5 oz
  • 1 can chickpeas 15 oz, drained and rinsed
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil chopped

  • Skillet

Method
 

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Add diced tomatoes, chickpeas, salt, and black pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  4. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to combine. Stir in fresh basil before serving.
