- In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, ranch seasoning mix, and garlic powder. Mix until smooth and well combined.
- Spread the dip evenly into a serving dish. You can use a round dish for a classic web effect.
- Place the black olive spread (or balsamic glaze) into a piping bag with a small tip, or a plastic bag with a corner snipped off.
- Pipe concentric circles of the black olive spread onto the surface of the dip, starting from the center and working outwards.
- Using a toothpick or the tip of a knife, drag lines from the center outwards through the circles to create the spider web pattern. Be sure to wipe the toothpick clean between drags.
- Cover the dip and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld and the dip to firm up slightly.
- Serve with your favorite crackers, chips, or vegetable sticks.
Notes
For an extra spooky touch, you can add a plastic spider on top of the web before serving. This dip is best served chilled.
