Ingredients
  

For the Main Dish
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can diced tomatoes 14.5 oz
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
For Serving
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley

  • Mixing bowl

Method
 

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned.
  2. Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook until the onion is soft.
  3. Stir in the diced tomatoes, salt, and black pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  4. Serve the beef mixture over cooked rice. Garnish with chopped parsley.
