Ingredients
  

For the Crust
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup butter softened
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
For the Topping
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x9 inch baking pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, butter, and granulated sugar to form the crust. Press the mixture evenly into the prepared pan.
  3. Bake the crust for 15 minutes or until lightly golden. Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly.
  4. In another bowl, mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth. Spread the topping over the baked crust.
  5. Let the dessert squares set for at least 30 minutes before cutting into squares.

Notes
