Ingredients
  

Garlic Green Beans
  • 1 lb green beans trimmed
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/4 tsp salt
Lemon Butter Broccoli
  • 1 head broccoli cut into florets
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

  • Mixing bowl

Method
 

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add green beans and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Add minced garlic and salt. Cook for another 2 minutes.
  4. Steam broccoli florets for 4 minutes until tender.
  5. Melt butter in a pan, add lemon juice and black pepper.
  6. Toss steamed broccoli in the lemon butter mixture.
