Ingredients
  

For the Oatmeal
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 2 cups water or milk
  • 1/2 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup optional
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Method
 

  1. In a saucepan, bring water or milk to a boil.
  2. Stir in the oats, pumpkin puree, pumpkin pie spice, and salt.
  3. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in maple syrup if using.
  5. Serve warm.
