Ingredients
  

For the Crust
  • 1 unbaked 9-inch pie crust pie crust
For the Filling
  • 15 oz pumpkin puree not pumpkin pie filling
  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 2 large eggs lightly beaten
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/4 tsp ground cloves
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the pumpkin puree, evaporated milk, and lightly beaten eggs.
  3. Stir in the granulated sugar, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, and salt until well combined.
  4. Pour the filling into the unbaked pie crust.
  5. Bake for 15 minutes at 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).
  6. Reduce the oven temperature to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and continue baking for 40 to 50 minutes, or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean.
  7. Let the pie cool completely on a wire rack before serving.
