Pork and Sauerkraut Crockpot

Main Ingredients
  • 3 lbs pork loin
  • 32 oz sauerkraut drained
  • 1 large onion sliced
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp caraway seeds
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 cup apple juice

Equipment

  • Crockpot
  • Cutting board
  • Knife

Method
 

  1. Place the pork loin in the crockpot.
  2. Add the sauerkraut, sliced onion, brown sugar, caraway seeds, and black pepper on top of the pork.
  3. Pour the apple juice over the ingredients.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours.
  5. Remove the pork from the crockpot and slice or shred it. Serve with the sauerkraut mixture.
