  • 6 cups peeled and sliced peaches fresh or frozen
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
For the Cobbler Topping
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix the peaches, brown sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice. Spread evenly in a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Stir in the milk and melted butter until just combined.
  4. Drop spoonfuls of the batter over the peach mixture.
  5. Bake for 45 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the filling is bubbly.
  6. Let cool slightly before serving.
