Overnight Oats with Dates and Nuts

Ingredients
  

For the Oats
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup milk or almond milk
  • 2 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup optional
For the Topping
  • 4 dates chopped
  • 2 tbsp mixed nuts chopped
  • 1 tsp cinnamon optional

Equipment

  • Mixing bowl
  • Glass jar or container with lid

Method
 

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine oats, milk, chia seeds, and honey (if using). Stir well.
  2. Divide the mixture into two glass jars or containers.
  3. Cover and refrigerate overnight or for at least 8 hours.
  4. Before serving, top with chopped dates, nuts, and a sprinkle of cinnamon.
