Ingredients
  

For the Cheese Straws
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup butter softened
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
For the Spiced Nuts
  • 2 cups mixed nuts
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp paprika

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Mix cheese, butter, and flour to form a dough for the cheese straws.
  3. Roll the dough into thin strips and place on a baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden.
  5. Toss nuts with olive oil and paprika, then spread on a baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 8-10 minutes, stirring once.
