Ingredients
  

For the Main Course
  • 2 lbs beef tenderloin trimmed
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
For the Side Dish
  • 1 lb asparagus trimmed
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
For the Dessert
  • 1 box chocolate cake mix
  • 1 cup whipped cream

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Rub the beef tenderloin with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Place it in a roasting pan.
  3. Roast the beef for 45-60 minutes, or until it reaches your desired doneness.
  4. While the beef is roasting, melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add asparagus and cook for 5-7 minutes. Drizzle with lemon juice.
  5. Prepare the chocolate cake according to the package instructions. Let it cool before serving with whipped cream.
