For the Cake
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup boiling water
For the Topping
  • 1 cup whipped cream
  • 1/4 cup sprinkles festive colors

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
  4. Stir in boiling water. The batter will be thin.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish. Bake for 30 minutes.
  6. Let the cake cool. Top with whipped cream and sprinkles before serving.
