Mashed Potatoes

Ingredients
  

  • 2 lbs potatoes peeled and quartered
  • 1/2 cup milk warmed
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Method
 

  1. Place the potatoes in a pot and cover with cold water. Bring to a boil.
  2. Reduce heat and simmer for 15-20 minutes until potatoes are tender.
  3. Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot.
  4. Add butter, milk, salt, and pepper. Mash until smooth.
  5. Adjust seasoning if needed and serve warm.
