Maple Roasted Brussels Sprouts

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb Brussels sprouts trimmed and halved
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 2 tbsp Maple syrup
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1/8 tsp Black pepper
  • 1/8 tsp Red pepper flakes optional

  • Large bowl

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, toss the Brussels sprouts with olive oil, maple syrup, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using).
  3. Spread the Brussels sprouts in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  4. Roast for 20-25 minutes, or until tender and slightly caramelized, flipping halfway through.

Notes

Serve immediately as a side dish.
