- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8x8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix the flour, sugar, and melted butter for the crust until combined. Press the mixture into the prepared pan.
- Bake the crust for 15 minutes, or until lightly golden. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly.
- In another bowl, whisk together the sugar, flour, lemon zest, lemon juice, poppy seeds, and eggs for the filling until smooth.
- Pour the filling over the baked crust. Return to the oven and bake for 25 minutes, or until the filling is set.
- Let the bars cool completely before cutting into squares.
