Ingredients

For the Pork
  • 1 lb pork tenderloin
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
For the Glaze
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp ginger ground

Equipment

  • Oven
  • Skillet
  • Measuring spoons

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Season the pork tenderloin with salt and pepper, then sear on all sides until browned, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  3. Transfer the pork to a baking dish. In a small bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, garlic, apple cider vinegar, and ginger to make the glaze.
  4. Brush half of the glaze over the pork. Roast in the oven for 10 minutes.
  5. Remove the pork from the oven, brush with the remaining glaze, and roast for another 10 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
  6. Let the pork rest for 5 minutes before slicing. Serve with any remaining glaze.
