Homemade Chocolate Candy

Ingredients
  

For the Chocolate Candy
  • 2 cups dark chocolate chips
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts optional
  • 1/4 cup dried fruit optional

Equipment

  • Double boiler
  • Silicone molds

Method
 

  1. Melt the chocolate chips and coconut oil in a double boiler over low heat, stirring until smooth.
  2. Remove from heat and stir in chopped nuts and dried fruit if using.
  3. Pour the mixture into silicone molds and let it cool at room temperature for 10 minutes.
  4. Transfer to the refrigerator and chill for at least 1 hour until firm.
  5. Pop the candies out of the molds and serve or store in an airtight container.
