Ground Turkey Stir Fry

Ingredients
  

For the Stir Fry
  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced any color
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 2 carrots, julienned
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp ginger, grated
For the Sauce
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes optional

Equipment

  • Large skillet
  • Wooden spoon

Method
 

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add ground turkey and cook until browned, breaking it into small pieces with a wooden spoon.
  3. Add bell pepper, broccoli, carrots, garlic, and ginger. Stir fry for 4-5 minutes until vegetables are tender.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes.
  5. Pour the sauce over the stir fry and toss to coat. Cook for another 1-2 minutes.
  6. Serve hot over rice or noodles.
