Ingredients
  

For the Steak
  • 2 lbs ribeye or sirloin steak
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
For the Garlic Butter
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp parsley chopped
For the Asparagus
  • 1 lb asparagus trimmed
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Method
 

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Season the steak with salt and black pepper on both sides.
  3. Grill the steak for 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness. Remove from the grill and let rest for 5 minutes.
  4. While the steak rests, toss the asparagus with olive oil and salt. Grill for 3-4 minutes, turning occasionally, until tender.
  5. In a small skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant. Stir in the chopped parsley.
  6. Slice the steak and serve with the grilled asparagus. Drizzle the garlic butter sauce over the steak and asparagus.
