Ingredients
  

For the Pasta
  • 12 oz linguine
For the Shrimp Scampi
  • 1 lb shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/4 cup white wine
  • 1/4 cup parsley chopped
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes optional
  • 1 lemon juiced
  • salt to taste
  • black pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Cook the linguine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Add shrimp to the skillet and cook until pink, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  4. Pour in white wine and lemon juice. Simmer for 2 minutes.
  5. Stir in parsley, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper.
  6. Toss the cooked linguine with the shrimp and sauce until well combined. Serve immediately.
