Garlic Butter Pork Chops in Skillet

Ingredients
  

  • 4 bone-in pork chops (about 1-inch thick)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Method
 

  1. Season pork chops with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add pork chops and cook for 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  3. Reduce heat to medium. Add butter, garlic, and thyme to the skillet. Cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Pour in chicken broth and stir to combine. Return pork chops to the skillet and spoon the sauce over them. Cook for 2-3 more minutes until pork reaches an internal temperature of 145°F.
  5. Sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.
