For the Chicken
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil

Method
 

  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  2. Dredge each chicken breast in flour, shaking off any excess.
  3. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Add the chicken to the skillet and cook for 6-7 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through.
  5. Transfer the chicken to a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil.
