Easy Mango Sago Dessert

A refreshing and creamy mango dessert with sago pearls.

Ingredients
  

For the Sago
  • 1/2 cup sago pearls
  • 4 cups water
For the Mango Mixture
  • 2 cups ripe mango diced
  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • 1/4 cup condensed milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • Saucepan
  • Mixing bowl

Method
 

  1. Boil water in a saucepan and add sago pearls. Cook for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  2. Drain and rinse the cooked sago under cold water. Set aside.
  3. Blend diced mango until smooth.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine mango puree, coconut milk, condensed milk, and vanilla extract.
  5. Add the cooked sago pearls and mix well.
  6. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving.

Notes

For a richer taste, use fresh mangoes when in season.
