Ingredients

For the Chicken
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
For the Garlic Butter Sauce
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 4 garlic cloves minced
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley chopped

Equipment

  • Large skillet
  • Mixing bowl

Method

  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and paprika on both sides.
  2. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add 1 tablespoon of butter and let it melt.
  3. Add the chicken to the skillet and cook for 5-6 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, melt the remaining butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Pour in the chicken broth and lemon juice, stirring to scrape up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan.
  6. Return the chicken to the skillet and simmer for 2-3 minutes, spooning the sauce over the chicken.
  7. Sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.
