  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Whisk in flour and cook for 1 minute until lightly browned.
  3. Gradually add beef broth, whisking constantly to avoid lumps.
  4. Stir in Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  5. Simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until slightly thickened.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
