Ingredients
  

For the Potatoes
  • 2 lbs potatoes peeled and sliced
  • 1/4 cup butter melted
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
For the Topping
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese grated

Equipment

  • Mixing bowl

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking dish.
  2. Layer the sliced potatoes in the baking dish.
  3. Mix melted butter, heavy cream, salt, and pepper. Pour over the potatoes.
  4. Combine breadcrumbs and parmesan cheese. Sprinkle over the potatoes.
  5. Bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown and tender.

Notes

For extra flavor, add minced garlic or fresh herbs to the butter mixture.
