Easter Pasta

Ingredients
  

For the Pasta
  • 12 oz pasta such as penne or fusilli
  • 4 qt water
  • 1 tbsp salt
For the Sauce
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley chopped

Equipment

  • Large pot
  • Colander
  • Mixing bowl

Method
 

  1. Bring water to a boil in a large pot. Add salt and pasta. Cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain.
  2. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted.
  4. Add cooked pasta to the sauce. Toss to coat evenly. Season with black pepper.
  5. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
