Creamy Shrimp Alfredo Pasta Skillet

Ingredients
  

For the Pasta
  • 8 oz fettuccine
For the Shrimp
  • 1 lb shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
For the Alfredo Sauce
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

  • Large skillet
  • Wooden spoon

Method
 

  1. Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add shrimp and garlic. Cook until shrimp turns pink, about 3-4 minutes. Remove shrimp from skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper until the sauce thickens.
  4. Add the cooked pasta and shrimp back to the skillet. Toss everything together until well coated with the sauce.
  5. Serve immediately, garnished with extra Parmesan if desired.
