Crack Breakfast Casserole

This easy make-ahead breakfast casserole is packed with protein and perfect for grab-and-go mornings.

Ingredients
  

For the Casserole
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 lb breakfast sausage cooked and crumbled
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 can crescent roll dough
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

  • 9x13 inch baking dish
  • Mixing bowl

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. Unroll the crescent roll dough and press it into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
  4. Layer the cooked sausage and shredded cheese over the crescent roll dough.
  5. Pour the egg mixture evenly over the sausage and cheese.
  6. Bake for 45 minutes, or until the eggs are set and the top is golden brown.
  7. Let cool for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
