- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large pot, brown the ground beef with onion and garlic. Drain excess fat.
- Add tomato sauce and basil to the meat mixture. Simmer for 10 minutes.
- In a bowl, mix ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan, and egg.
- Layer noodles, meat sauce, and cheese mixture in a baking dish. Repeat layers.
- Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake for 20 more minutes.
