Ingredients
  

For the Beef Filling
  • 1 lb ground beef lean
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
For the Toppings
  • 8 taco shells
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese cheddar or Mexican blend
  • 1/4 cup sour cream

Method
 

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned.
  2. Drain excess fat from the skillet. Stir in chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, and salt.
  3. Cook for another 2 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the spices are fragrant.
  4. Warm the taco shells according to package instructions.
  5. Fill each taco shell with beef mixture, then top with lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, and sour cream.
