Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
Wet Ingredients
  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
Add-ins
  • 2 cups chocolate chips

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, beat butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until creamy.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, mixing until combined.
  6. Fold in chocolate chips.
  7. Drop tablespoon-sized dough onto baking sheets, spacing 2 inches apart.
  8. Bake for 9-11 minutes until edges are golden.
  9. Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes, then transfer to wire racks.
