- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a muffin tin with paper liners or grease lightly.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, mix mashed bananas, sugar, egg, and melted butter until combined.
- Fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Stir in chocolate chips.
- Divide batter evenly into the muffin tin, filling each about 2/3 full.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Let cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
