- Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add chicken, salt, and pepper. Cook until the chicken is no longer pink, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add minced garlic to the skillet and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream, parmesan cheese, and dried basil. Stir until the sauce thickens slightly, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat evenly with the sauce.
- Serve hot, garnished with extra parmesan cheese if desired.
