Ingredients
  

For the Chicken
  • 2 lbs chicken thighs boneless and skinless
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
For the Rice
  • 1 cup white rice uncooked
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 tsp garlic powder

Method
 

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Season chicken thighs with salt and pepper, then add to the skillet. Cook until browned, about 5 minutes per side.
  3. Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside. Add rice, chicken broth, and garlic powder to the skillet. Stir well.
  4. Return chicken to the skillet, cover, and simmer for 20 minutes or until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed.
