Ingredients
  

For the Casserole
  • 2 cups cooked white rice
  • 2 cups cooked chicken shredded or diced
  • 2 cups broccoli florets chopped
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup 10.5 oz
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
For Topping
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Equipment

  • 9x13 inch baking dish
  • Large mixing bowl

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the cooked rice, chicken, broccoli, cream of chicken soup, 1 cup cheddar cheese, milk, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
  3. Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
  4. Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup cheddar cheese on top.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  6. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

You can use fresh or frozen broccoli. If using frozen, thaw and drain it first.
