Method
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, mix blackberries, sugar, lemon juice, and cornstarch. Pour into a greased baking dish.
- In another bowl, whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Stir in melted butter and milk until combined.
- Drop spoonfuls of the batter over the blackberry mixture.
- Bake for 45 minutes or until the topping is golden and the filling is bubbly.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
