Ingredients
  

For the Salmon
  • 4 salmon fillets about 6 oz each
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
For the Honey Garlic Glaze
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes optional

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Place the salmon fillets on the baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
  3. In a small saucepan, combine honey, soy sauce, garlic, lemon juice, and red pepper flakes. Heat over medium heat until the mixture simmers and thickens slightly, about 2-3 minutes.
  4. Brush the glaze over the salmon fillets, reserving some for serving.
  5. Bake the salmon for 12-15 minutes, or until it flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Serve the salmon with the remaining glaze drizzled on top.
