Baked Salmon with Garlic Butter Sauce

A simple baked salmon recipe with a rich garlic butter sauce.

Ingredients
  

For the Salmon
  • 4 salmon fillets skin-on or skinless
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
For the Garlic Butter Sauce
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 4 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley chopped

  • Small saucepan

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Place salmon fillets in a baking dish. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  4. While the salmon bakes, melt butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in lemon juice and parsley.
  6. Drizzle the garlic butter sauce over the baked salmon before serving.
