Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1/4 cup red wine optional
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Method
 

  1. Combine beef broth, red wine, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper in a saucepan.
  2. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium-high heat.
  3. Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes to allow flavors to blend.
  4. Strain the au jus if desired and serve warm.
