Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C). Prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, cream together softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
- Add your chosen flavorings (lavender, rosemary & oil, black sesame, Earl Grey tea, etc.) to the dough and mix until evenly distributed.

- Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
